Christmas Towne comes to Myrtle Beach

Santa Claus is coming to town! On Sunday, December 13, the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce host Christmas Towne, the area’s premier holiday festival. Open from 1pm-7pm, Christmas Town is centered on providing a wide variety of free activities and entertainment for families and children. The festival will take place at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center Outdoor Events Plaza. Admission is FREE.

The festival will offer train rides and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Other free activities include cookie decorating, button and ornament making, face painting, balloon and spin art, basketball hoop shooting, toss games, appearances by Medieval Times’ knights, Dixie Stampede’s Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and lots of giveaways for kids. More than 20 area businesses will be participating to provide these—and more—activities at no cost.

The Christmas Towne event also serves as Myrtle Beach’s Official Tree Lighting Ceremony.
