Myrtle Beach hosts South Carolina Bluegrass Festival

Myrtle Beach is hosting the South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival November 26-28, 2009, at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. This event promises to a be a highlight of the season as it showcases the talents of artists like Big Country Bluegrass, Blue Highway and Nothin’ Fancy, among many others. Any bluegrass fan won’t want to miss this exciting event.

Thursday, 26th
The James King Band: 12:00 noon & 3:30pm
Nothin’ Fancy: 12:45pm & 5:15pm
Marty Raybon & Full Circle: 1:30pm & 6:00pm
Jesse McReynolds & The VA Boys: 2:15pm & 6:45pm
Blue Highway: 3:00pm & 7:30pm
Ralph Stanley (one 90 minute show): 8:15pm

Friday, 27th

Tickets are on sale now. General admission is $35 per day, or $85 for a three-day ticket. Children (6-13) are $20 per day or $45 for a three-day ticket.
