Ring in the New Year in Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach is hosting Rock’N the Beach, South Carolina’s Largest New Year’s Eve Celebration.

Rock’N the Beach is an all-day event. The Kids and Family Fun segment of the event will begin at 12:30pm and last until 7pm. Face painting, strolling characters and performers, sleigh/carriage rides. In Plyler Park, the Arts & Cultural Council “Chalk The Walk” and Collaborative Artist Mural “My 2000’s” exhibits will be on display as well.

A scavenger hunt that challenges guests to explore the local downtown area while completing five tasks is also planned, Food vendors will also be on hand, as will beverage vendors.

At midnight, there a champagne toast and “Auld Lang Syne” sing-along is planned, as is a fireworks show.

Crystal Garrett: Crystal Garrett is an outstanding singer/songwriter from Columbia, South Carolina with unique pop/R&B style, with incredible vocal range. In 2007 Crystal was also crowned Miss South Carolina, representing South Carolina in the Miss America Pageant. The response from everyone in the entertainment industry who meets Crystal is: “She has that it factor!”

Amanda McCullough: Amanda is a brilliant singer and songwriter from Columbia, South Carolina. She is hailed in the music industry as the next R&B “Sensation”. Experience Amanda’s Y.O. Soul (Youthful Oriented Soul Music).

Herbert Riley Trio: The trio will not disappoint you. Listen to their rhythmic jazz, blues, and easy listing harmonic style. If variety of sound is your music of choice then don’t miss the Trio!

The Brothership: The Brothership will perform favorites of Motown, Beach, Funk and Soul. When they take the stage please....Hang Tight! It has been reported that audiences’ feet danced their bodies to death.
