The only tour and dinner riverboat on the Intracoastal Waterway, Barefoot Princess Riverboat offers incredible sightseeing, sunset and dinner cruises on several days throughout the week. Depending on the cruise, guests can enjoy everything from stunning views and live entertainment, to full-service dining and more. The boat tours depart from Barefoot Landing Marina in North Myrtle Beach.

Can you give me information about the boat?
The Barefoot Princess is 64 feet long and 24 feet wide, and is a U.S. Coast Guard inspected and approved passenger vessel for 130 passengers. All boarding/disembarking is through the front door of the lower level. The lower level is primarily used as the dining room and also has a restroom and speakers for the narration and music. The second level has a restroom, snack bar, entertainer/narrator, dance floor, outside seating/observation deck. The third level is all open-air with seating.
Can I smoke on the boat?
In accordance with North Myrtle Beach Town Ordinance, the Barefoot Princess Riverboat is a NON-SMOKING VESSEL, both inside and outside. This includes all forms of smoking, including electronic cigarettes.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not allowed aboard, however, trained service animals are welcome when they are engaged in providing the service for which they are trained.
Can I bring my own food?
No food or beverages may be brought on board. Food and beverages are available for purchase onboard at the Riverboat Snack Bar.
Are food or drinks served on the cruise?
Passengers on all cruises may utilize the snack bar for light snacks (crackers, chips, candy, soda, water,...) A government-issued ID is required to purchase alcoholic beverages.
Where do I park?
The parking lot is located in front of the Greg Norman Australian Grille, at the back of Barefoot Landing.
Do you cruise when it rains?
ABSOLUTELY! Our 1st and 2nd decks are enclosed and climate-controlled with great viewing for all. Cruises will only be cancelled for weather purposes when the General Manager and Captain determine there are unsafe conditions for cruising. *Passengers will not receive a refund if not attending because it is raining.
Is entertainment provided on the cruise?
Yes, there is entertainment provided. Our entertainers provide music through singing or playing instrumentals, or music provided by one of our great DJs! The dance floor is always open if you feel like dancing to the beat! Sightseeing cruises include a narrative of the area and music. Dinner cruises include soft music for dining and more lively music for dancing afterwards.
Is there a dress code?
Yes.....be comfortable! All bathing attire should be covered. Shirts and shoes are required.
For our holiday and special dinner cruises, appropriate attire is recommended. High heeled shoes are not recommended.
Are children allowed to attend?
Children are more than welcome! Children ages 2-10 years of age are free with each paying adult on Sightseeing Cruises only. Children have a reduced ticket price on all cruises. Children under age 2 are free, but must obtain a boarding ticket due to U.S. Coast Guard regulations.
Is the vessel handicap/wheelchair accessible?
The Barefoot Princess crew is available to assist wheelchairs/powerchairs with boarding. Access to the boat is via a ramp to the lower deck/dining area. The incline angle of the ramp varies depending on the tide.
Are there restrooms aboard?
Yes. Restrooms are located on the first and second decks.
Will I get seasick?
Seasickness should not be an issue since our boat glides smoothly along the Intracoastal Waterway. However, if you are prone to motion sickness, please take the necessary precautions before the event.
It was extremely hot and the captain and photographer had each family or couple get a photo before boarding ( they sell them afterwards for $25 each ). There was no way to avoid this .
The cruise itself wasn't bad. It's a nice ride down the waterway and the highlight is seeing all the beautiful homes, including a couple celebrity homes.
The music on board is ok. It started out rather poor and dated and got a little better as we went along.
The people running it were extremely kind and friendly. I give them a 5.
I would suggest just doing the sightseeing tour. Otherwise you will be disappointed in the " dinner cruise"
