"Our first family vacation"
June, 2016
I booked on line and saved some money . As a grandmother raising my 2 grandkids we are on a budget . I wanted this first ever vacation to be fun and relaxing and exciting all in one . We have been through some tough times as I am raising my grandkids in the foster care system waiting to adopt after divorce is final . It's been almost two years of many changes and we are blessed to go on our first family vacation. We really enjoyed the Barefoot princess. The man that sang and narrated was awesome. The crew was friendly and we got a memorable plaque with our picture in front of the Barefoot Princess after the tour . We got to relax and sight see and saw even Jimmy Buffet house . It was fun and inexpensive . And also was a great memory for our vacation
Tip: Book ahead and enjoy the ride

Our dinner cruise...we loved the trip down the river. I thought the food was not good...the salad was just iceberg lettuce. It was just okay. It would have been nice, to have some point out the sights along the river. I would go again.

Boat and crew were very nice. This is a cruise for older individuals. Our teenagers were bored. The on board live music was great and he was very entertaining.

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. It was very nice we were treated as VIP guests. The buffet was good my husband enjoyed the BBQ. I love the personalized plaque they give you an option to purchase at the end of the cruise. Very nice experience.

I had bought tickets online to do the tour. We arrived right at departure. They hadn't removed the steps yet to board. The people running the boat wouldn't let me and my husband on. They said they were late taking off and after one of them asked if I had my tickets and had told them yes! So they took off leaving us standing there! I called to ask for a refund and they also wouldn't give me my money back. Needless to say I was not happy!

we had a great time. the weather was perfect. we sat inside, to be protected from the sun - the music was perfect, not too loud, and timed well with the narration of the sights along the route. the prices at the snack/drink bar were reasonable as well. everyone was very friendly. only feedback for improvement would be to have the photos taken at boarding available for something more airplane-travel friendly - they are mounted on a block for presentation, and while pretty, not as easily packable.
