"SLOW Go-Karts..."

This used to be a really good kart track, but the karts have not been kept up well. Most of the seat belts had multiple wraps in them. If you are looking for some fun, fast karts, go somewhere else! I don't know if they de-tuned them, or if they are just worn out, but after about 30 minutes, my son and I decided to leave. We paid about $40 a piece for the all day pass. If you are trying to entertain very young kids you might like this place. The staff, for the most part, was very friendly.

This is a part of Broadway at the Beach, but it's across the street from the main area. The tourist map doesn't properly show its location. Use your GPS. I would recommend you go to the Grand Prix either before or after you visit the main complex. If you buy a wrist band you go anytime the whole day. We went here first in the morning and it wasn't too hot. We purchased the day wrist band for our teens. If you buy tickets you need to know how you need because the amount of tickets differ amoung the races. I didn't want bother trying to figure it out. After buy your wrist band or tickets, you have to walkthrough the arcade - we didn't waste our time. There were different track levels all but one was outside. They had benches and stands for people to sit & watch. Several were in the shade. We spent about 2 hrs. The kids did most the tracks twice & a couple 3 times. As we were getting ready to leave in the early afternoon, the lines were getting longer. The longest wait we had was 2 races. They keep the lines moving because once a race starts, they load the next cars.

Our plan was to go to the Family Kingdom amusement park, but for some inexplicable reason it didn't open till 6pm...so it was decided our group would go here. Boy did we have a really good time. Had a little issue with the height thing, they were saying my daughter was too short when her head was clearly reaching the proper height to ride, but a supervisor came over and go her the right wrist band. Make sure your kids are tall enough (48") or they are going to be super limited on what they can do (go kart wise). It was the first time my 6 year old daughter drove a go cart and she absolutely loved it. They had tracks for everyone at varying speeds/difficulties. But the kids in our group seemed to like the various carnival rides they had even more as they stayed on them the longest. The wristband comes with mini golf and the "easy" course was a lot of fun, the challenge spinner at some of the holes was a neat touch (i.e. stand on one foot during this hole). They have a more challenging course but we didn't get a chance to try it. We ate at the cafe inside, food was good though it took a long time to get food (one cook while four workers stand at the registers talking) The only thing that cut our day short was the oppressive heat. We simply couldn't stay any longer, we were drained. Would be nice to have more shaded areas and some misters around. Overall I'd say it was a very good value, be sure to look for coupons.
