"A great place to spend an hour of your time"
July, 2018 NEW
Our 3-year old son adores dinosaurs so we decided to take this exhibition while staying in Myrtle Beach. It was a success! He loved it so much and we were engaged in a quiz that promised us some dinosaur souvenirs!
The exhibition isn't the biggest one I've ever seen but it was OK. It also has a little playground where your little ones can practice in fossil digging. A great place to spend an hour of your time (or even more).

"Perfect for a rainy day"

Great activity for a rainy day at the beach. My 4 year old dino lover enjoyed it. If it wasn’t rainy though enjoy all the other activities! Wasn’t a lot to see and do compared to everything to offer around the area

"Disappointing"
August, 2017
I wish we had read reviews before wasting $35. It is a self guided tour of maybe 10 dinosaurs with signs, digging for fossils is just a plastic sandbox with fossils built in and the ride the dinosaur is to get you to buy a video. Don't waste your time or money

I was slightly disappointed that there was not more to see and follow through. I did enjoy it and would go again but not something I would do too soon.

Hi . As a grandmother raising 2 grandkids that are in the foster care system until I can adopt pending a divorce, We are on a budget. Using the reserve myrtle beach helped me take my grandkids on an amazing myrtle beach adventure to have fun and relieve some stress . The dinosaur Exhibition was perfect . It was not expensive and I booked ahead in my package . When we got there we were greeted with friendly welcomes and the tickets were waiting on us . I showed our e ticket and they exchanged for the real tickets . We then adventured into the action and neatness of learning about and seeing the dinosaurs. The kids also got to dig for fossils and color and play and also rode a dinosaur. Was neat fun for all . We really enjoyed the dinosaur exhibition.

I was buying tickets through Reserve Myrtle Beach for Pirates Voyage and I saw this advertised. My 4 year old is dino crazy right now and I figured it’d be something interesting for my 7 and 2 year olds to see as well. It ended up being $10 for an adult ticket with a free kids tickets with each paying adult (I think it’s $15 if you buy tickets there) . My two-year-old was free so we paid $20 for two adults and three kids. When you first enter you watch about a two minute movie about dinosaurs, then you walk through some different rooms where there are large animatronic dinosaurs. They are behind ropes, but the worker told us that you can pet them and touch them which my kids thought was really cool. They give you a scavenger hunt when you check-in and you read the signs at each dinosaur to answer the questions. You get a small prize, a dinosaur stamp, if you turn it in at the end. In another room you get to climb up on top of a dinosaur and they take video of you riding it which you can purchase at the end. They also take a picture of your group that you can purchase. There was also a play room at the end that had a playset with slides, tables with dinosaur fossils in sand to brush off with paint brushes, pictures to color, and room for kids to run around. It was perfect for my 7, 4, and 2 year old to run around and burn off some energy. We spent about an hour and a half here and it was well worth it for $20.

We went with 5 year old twin girls a 3 yr old girl and baby the girls were timid at first but after watching film and going through and touching dinosaurs they loved it! Then the bones! They totally loved digging bones we were there a long long time! Then the video of them riding the dinosaur was priceless. It was worth every penny. Best thing we did so glad we got out of line and did not do the aquarium again!

I would like to start by saying my 3 year old daughter is obsessed with dinosaurs and eggs. So this place was perfect for her. I agree this place is geared toward small children and is pretty small maybe 45 minutes tops if your kids are really in to it. As far as the price it was $15 for adults and a child gets in free which compared to most of the places my family visited in myrtle beach was pretty reasonable. At the end they took 2 pictures and made a video in front of green screen of my daughter riding a dinosaur which we purchased the video and one 8×10 for $25. Also the staff was very friendly and the place was pretty clean.

While visiting Myrtle Beach for spring break with our three little kids, we decided to visit this establishment because our two sons (ages 5 and 2) LOVE dinosaurs. Besides the fact I think they charge a bit much, they do offer a military discount (which was nice as most places don't). The building is quite small and we walked through it faster than I had anticipated. The dinosaurs are very cool though. They're realistically sized, move and have information posted about them. You are allowed to touch them too. The play/ coloring area was vibrant and inviting. My boys dug for dinosaur bones for a few minutes and then played on the plastic playset for a bit. Also, the staff was very friendly. I would visit this establishment again, and would recommend it to other families as well.

This was a small exhibit for the price. They try to entice you by stating that a schools is free with one adult, but an adult ticket is 15.00. Really, the cost should be half of this! It gave us something to do, but I don’t think it was worth the cost.
