"Family Fun!!"
June, 2016
We loved Family Kingdom. It isn't directly on the beach but very close. The ocean is view able from several rides. The park was cleaned and staff was friendly. We bought the all day passes. Also, we bought a souvenir cup for $4.95 and refills are 99 cents. Pretty good deal. The only thing I disliked was the go cart track a bunch of young adults got on playing with there cell phones and running people into the walls. The staff didn't say a word to them about it which I think is very rude and disrespectful to everyone else riding.. We got there when they opened and didn't have to wait for any rides. A very good deal. I would recommend.

"Good time!!"
April, 2015
We all had a good time. We had 7 kids with us ranging from 5 to 17. A lot more rides for the younger kids. The older kids mainly rode the same rides over and over but still had fun. We plan on going again next year. It's hard to find things to do that makes all the kids happy but they all seemed to have a good time.
Tip: Our friend has problems with his back and was hurting pretty bad after roller coaster ride. I also rode it and it is very jerky.

Tip: No lines in the afternoon. By an all day pass- it's worth it.

We always visit family kingdom every year when we go to myrtle Beach. There is alot of rides for every age group. I have a 5 & 13 year old so they definitely have different interests. My 13 year old loves the roller coasters, log ride and hurricane. My son loves the train that rides you around the park, the boats and the trucks. Both my kids love the arcade located inside the park, games are mostly a quarter at most 50 cents, and they generously Give out tickets and prizes for those tickets, the older gentlemen inside the both is so nice and helpful. The other games threw out the park in my opinion are over priced along with the food, bathrooms are always clean, and security seems to have a good hold of the place. They seem autism friendly to me, they are good with my son. Parking does have s fee, but must amusement parks does It was $5 Go visit you want regret it!

We took our 6 year old and two tweens, they all enjoyed it as much as my husband and I. The bracelets were well worth it! They're about the same price as a Local carnival but has many More rides... the log ride was a favorite of theirs. There was an older gentleman working in the arcade and he was the sweetest most genuine man we met in SC! The only thing missing was the gokarts were not included with the bracelet.. but I think the bumper cars were just as much fun

Several friends told me to visit this park but it is quite a drive. I got a good discount so we planned a trip. I researched as much as I could and I still wind up being surprised, in a good way. First of all the park really is like a block off the beach. There is parking all around which might be a little cheaper than the $7 in the park lot, but personally I like to give the park my money. We did not eat at the park and they had no souvenir stand; the only thing they have is a few things in the arcade which we spent a few bucks to win enough tickets to get. The rides were fun. I rode Swamp Fox in the front seat and just loved it. I rode the back seat and I understood why they have high back seats. That thing is brutal in the back! It looks so nice, but...I went back before we left for another front seat ride. Awesome. My advice is ride in the front, especially over the front wheels. Trust me. The park has a nice variety of rides. Log flume, old car ride (actually two but one was closed during our visit), mouse coaster, kiddie coaster, carousel, interactive dark ride, Ferris wheel, scrambler, pirate ship, bumper cars, music express, yo yo, and a bunch of kiddie rides. When we were there the park was very clean and the employees were overall great. They have a rule on the Ferris wheel, no riders under age 18 unless with an adult. This is the first park I have seen to really enforce the rule, and I applaud them. This is likely a rule from the manufacturer. There were several workers who asked where we were from, likely based on my shirt (from my home park). I actually started a nice conversation with the man in the arcade and later we talked to the security guard who knew our home town a bit. They were nice people. It was a nice park and I would go back again. A note to first time visitors, this is a free gate park. If you arrive and see a long line at the ticket booth, there are other ticket booths inside the park. You might want to walk inside and see if other lines are shorter. I would recommend arriving at park opening as the ride lines were shortest then. We drove by at night and the coaster has white chaser lights its entire length. It us beautiful even if you don't ride.
