"The worst"
December, 2017 NEW
Molten Mountain mini golf is a dump. Shabby is being kind. The ‘grass’ surfaces are ancient, the decor looks like a bunch of grade schoolers designed it, which is unfair to grade schoolers but you get the idea. They keep the lights low for the indoor part so you
can’t see it well. Almost 40 bucks for 4 people of which about 1 dollar goes to maintenance. Don’t waste your time and money.

"A very disappionting experience"

No imagination went into creating any of the 36 holes we played. The design and layout of the two courses were extremely simple with very little to no suspense on any of the holes. What you see from the highway (which is very little) is what you get. With so many other amazing options along Hwy 17, we made a poor choice based on the glowing online reviews. Lesson learned.

"Family Game Night"
July, 2017
My family enjoyed our first round of miniature golf on the indoor course. After we finished it, we won a pass for another round of golf when we returned our golf balls. We used the pass and played the outdoor course that same night. We found the outdoor one more fun and challenging because of the added spinner challenge. We won another game after the outdoor round. The staff was friendly. The place provide a fun activity for all ages. We purchased the family pass and found it to be a great value.

My husband and I had decided to compete in put put golf. Because of the cheap prices, we chose to golf in the inside and outside courses. We had so much fun laughing and competing. I loved the theme of volcanoes and the informational pieces along the way. After we completed both courses, I got a delicious bag of dipping dots. We enjoyed our experience and will be golfing again this summer!

It was alright for an indoor mini golf place. it was a rainy morning and we were looking for something. It was a bit on the crowded side and we had to wait a while between holes, but it kept the kids entertained for a rainy morning

The fact that there is an indoor course was a huge draw for us to enjoy a little family time. Clean space, interesting facts along the course were a bonus.

"A nice place for a rainy day"

Due to some rain in the area during our Myrtle Beach adventure we started looking for things to do indoors and stumbled upon the Molten Mountain Mini Golf course. The Molten Mountain is comprised of 2-courses: Pele's Revenge which is outdoors, and Lava Louie's Challenge the indoor course. Due to the rain we stayed indoors. The course is moderately difficult, of course that is coming from a pair of moderately bad golfers. The indoor course is somewhat dark and includes the constant rumbling of a volcano and Lava Louie tell you your golfing is "making Pele angry, you better do a hula." We enjoyed the course, but would have preferred some of the more decorated putt-putt courses in the area. #RplusRadventures

"Very poor choice of mini golf"

My sister, mother and I decided to play the indoor golf because it was a little hot outside. It was so dark you couldn't read the score card. Green was covered with wood chips so you had to constantly pick them up so you could hit the ball without hitting the chips. Water was constantly dripping from the ceiling so you had to dodge the drips and left the course wet. Some of the holes were missing and took us awhile to figure out you had to go through an unmarked door and go up several steep stairs to get to them and had to then go back down. Not good for a handicap senior. It was such a bad experience we decided not to try the outdoor. There are so many courses in MB don't play this one.
