This was our first time zip lining which made a neat experience however I probably wouldn't go back. It is over fast however the movement of the zip line wasnt very fast. Nice to try but won't be doing it again, there anyways.

"Rope course only"

Our boys had a great time going on the rope course neither one of them wanted to zip line, but in the rope course you can stay up there as long as you want and go from level to level. Our boys stayed up there for about a hour. It gave them some fitness time. Both of them enjoyed the course both high and low.

"Terrible...Skip it!"

I took my 2 kids, ages 8 and 5, on the ropes course. They have done other courses before and were excited to try this one. The 8 year old liked it, but my youngest and I did not care for it at all. The strap that keeps you connected to the system runs through a track. It was very difficult to move and continuously got stuck. This made my son very nervous and was very frustrating for me. Also, in an effort to bring in tourists that are just walking by, they offer shoes for anyone that's not wearing appropriate footwear. The loaner shoes are swim shoes and the bottoms are quite slippery on the obstacles. Lastly, the staff was very lax and borderline unprofessional. The young woman up on the course does not know how to deal with people that are fearful. Bottom line...if you are interested in a ropes course, go to a real adventure park, like Radical Ropes. This is just another way for Ripley's to take your money while you're in Myrtle a Beach.

People are really nice, but the lines can get ridiculous. Two of us waited for two hours. The climbing gym, fun and terrifying. You climb the stairs to the top and claim the stairs back down. Zip line was fun you go down and back over water. Remember to remove EVERYTHING before getting in line, they'll send you out of line for everything but sunglasses. The lockers get sticky.

I rated it very good because it looked like something I could do...but I couldn't. I paid my 12.00 fee, got strapped in the harness, ascended the first set of stairs and got too scared to start the course. I have always been afraid of heights but thought "well that doesn't look too bad and you are strapped in, nothing can go wrong." There was a mom and son duo in front of me, the boy must have been about 6 or 7 and he got to a certain spot and asked his mom if he could turn around. She obliged. When I got to that same point, I decided I would leave the course as well. My family called me a chicken FROM THE GROUND. None wanted to go with me. There is also a zip line. It isn't very high up. I told myself that if I finished the course I would attempt the zip line. Needless to say, I didn't try the zip line. I think if you are the adventurous type, you might not find this challenging enough - if you are more like I am, then check it out. I didn't have a problem giving up the 12.00, but my family thought it was too much not to have gone beyond the first landing.
