"It was okay"
August, 2016
We have a kids museum in Raleigh, NC that we just LOVE so I was thinking this was going to be similar. There was A LOT of arcade stuff, like a whole floor worth, where you had to spend more money. This is NOT a kids museum. We did enjoy the ropes coarse + lazer tag and a few exhibits, but having to pay this price + additional money is ridiculous. They should def reconsider the meaning of a kid museum.
Tip: take extra money because you'll get sucked into the arcade.

"A great experience for the whole family!"
April, 2015
I wasn't as interested in this outing as my children were( ages 13 and 15) that is until we arrived. At first I thougt it was going to be almost feildtrip-ish. I couldnt have been more mistaken. There were so many things to see and do. We spent 7 hours inside and enjoyed every minute. The inside ropes course and laser tag were especially fun!
Tip: Closed shoes are required for the ropes course and there are shoes that can be rented if you arrive without the required footwear

"Price was ridiculous!"
February, 2015
We purchased tickets through Reserve Myrtle Beach saved a ton. Get into Wonder Works and think this is going to be awesome. It was a complete waste. 360 bike was the only "thrill" they had. Purchased Lazer tag add on and waited in line 3 hours before we actually were able to play the 7 min game. Needless to say it will never happen again. Chaos inside and to many people for the little bit of "hands on" activities they have.
Tip: prepare for a 6 hour day, between the lines and complete mess of the place you will be there all day. Don't waste your time or money on Lazer tag you and you kids will be highly disappointed.

Our family enjoyed every part of Wonderworks! The 6D theater, simulator roller coaster and ropes course were our favorites. We got to lay on a bed of nails, play with robotic arms, play a game of laser tag, and so much more! We could spend a whole day here (we had to leave at closing time but still got a good 4 hours of play time). We would visit again on another trip if we get the chance.

Great place for fun and adventure, especially if it's raining outside. My friend who is 45 and his 8 year old daughter never wanted to leave. There is something for everyone. After playing in here for a few hours it was fun to walk around Broadway at the Beach, looking in all the shops.

"Fantastic NC & SC teachers discount!"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

We got an excellent deal...NC & SC teachers' admission is free, and their family members are deeply discounted! I took my nephews, ages four and seven, to wonderworks last weekend. They enjoyed many hands on exhibits. We were disappointed that several things were not working or were not in service. Make sure to check on height requirements before you go in, as there are several rides/activities that they couldn't do. I would recommend that you go early in the morning, as it was packed with people...many of them jumping in front of us in lines constantly.

"I liked wonderworks"

I liked wonderworks. It was fun. I really wish they had more flexibility with the pricing though. You pay per person but because i had an infant i couldn't do anything. This place is not really stroller friendly. I immediately regretted bringing the stroller; I visited with an infant and a 6 year old. Visitors in wheel chairs or strollers cant even access the 2nd floor for laser tag without staff assistance. Obviously i wasn't going to play laser tag but being able to wait for my family would have been nice. The bathrooms are small and there was really no place to nurse/feed a baby which was kind of disappointing. You can leave and come back which i did and felt was great. On reentry the lady working the gate seems frazzled and in need of a break. My kid loved the virtual reality coaster on the 3rd floor as well as Everything on the 4th floor. Would definitely come back if in the area. Would not recommend going if local schools are out or a large crowd is anticipated. Allow 3 to 4 hours for the visit or go at night. My 6 year old had to wait 50 mins to ride the virtual reality coaster.
