The Atlantic Breeze was the perfect place for me and my friend's mid-winter golf getaway! The unit was spacious and well furnished with items that are necessary for a great stay. The only negative I would have to say is that the water pressure in the shower could certainly be better. That water pressure is a bit weak and the stream of water a bit too narrow! If this issue becomes corrected, the Atlantic breeze would certainly be without question the flawless and perfect place to stay in Myrtle Beach! Richard Davis

I was in a serious automobile accident September 30, 2014. The driver died that day and I have worked hard to get partially back. My husband and I wanted to reward the two women who have helped and encouraged me the most. Three bedrooms were perfect and the ocean view was excellent. The kitchen was user-friendly. The three bathrooms were well-supplied. All four of us had a great time.
Unit #1104 It was spacious and it was clean. The sofa/side chairs needs to be replaced as they are shabby. The bed pillows need to be replaced- shabby. I was told by reservations that this is a "premier" property...maybe 10 years ago. The price was fine for a January stay for a 3 bedroom unit. When we arrived it was pouring rain. The parking deck is the first four floors of the building that was good because itkept us from getting wet while unloading the car. When we got off the elevator the floor was wet all over because the doors are exposed to the outside. Serious risk of falls...no mats outside the doors. The kitchen had the minimum of utensils, dishes etc. There was not a pan for the oven but it did have a dozen wine glasses. The room coffee was S&D...very good but you only get one package a day in a premier condo. We had a problem with getting the heat to come on. We called the front desk and the maintenance man came right away. He was very nice and programmed the thermostat for the heat to come on properly. All in all we were satisfied but it was sold to me as a premier property. It is ok.***this unit had extra wide doors and would be easily accessed in a wheelchair.

Condo #1008 - The check-in process was fine; we were able to split payments. During the winter desk personnel is available between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., longer hours in the summer. You will receive discounts and coupons for restaurants and the outlet when staying at the resort, information provided at the time of check-in. The elevators were cool with TV's on them showing national news while you ride. When we arrived to our floor I was a little disappointed that the entrance to the rooms were exposed to the outside, it was well covered but I personally do not care for those type of hotel/resorts. Personally I feel it takes away from the luxury. When we stepped to our door there appeared to be mold to the left of the door (black spots and wide area of black stains). The door itself needed to be painted, it was scratched and paint was worn. First disappointment, the keys didn't work, however that was a simple fix. We were able to go to the front desk and get that fixed promptly. When we stepped in the room itself, the decor was LAME...nothing compared to the luxury hotels/resorts we have stayed in Myrtle Beach before. We immediately discovered that we had bath towels but there were not any washcloths. I called down to the front desk to request washcloths...I was told to come to the front desk. There were only 4 available, at the time we had 5 in the room. I was provided a hand towel to make up for the additional washcloth needed. I was told a note would be left for housekeeping to provide more. The NEXT DAY the housekeeper came by and still no washcloths, we were told they were washing some and would get them to us. We ask for the linens in one bedroom to be changed as well, but was told that linen changes had to be scheduled and they would put in a request. That was never provided as well. Since we did not receive washcloths by late afternoon after asking for more and only receiving bath mats, towels and hand towels; I had to go to the store and purchase washcloths and wash them before we used. In addition to this, the iron board did work, it was the kind that had the iron and iron holder attached to it. The iron board would not raise and the more you tried the water drained out of the iron - which we are glad we didn't get a chance to use because of the possibility of rusty water getting on our clothes. We had to put our clothes in the dryer to try to knock out some of the wrinkles. When I tried to cook, I couldn't find any utensils or dishes or anything. After opening cabinets and drawers, I decided to check the dishwasher and everything was in there. That is great that they were cleaned but I shouldn't have to search and think there is nothing because the majority of the items needed are in the dishwasher. There was a slow drain in 2 of the 3 bathrooms sinks which was a little frustrating, but not unbearable; I didn't think to call maintenance because I had already spent time trying to struggle with other mishaps and didn't think to call them...as mentioned before, it wasn't unbearable. The phone in the dining area phone was missing buttons where I could see wires, I had to go in one of the bedrooms to use the phone and that one had a bad cord, static and popping when on the phone. One of the chairs in the dining area had the bottom black lining hanging down from it...it just seemed that things were not well kept in the unit. I was eager to ask others how their rooms were, but I didn't want to interrupt their getaway. I was truly DISAPPOINTED, DISSATISFIED, FRUSTRATED AND UNHAPPY with the unit which reflected on the Property...since it is considered Luxury Condominiums. I did call and complain before leaving, I was offered a 15% discount, which didn't amount to $70, then a $75 credit. I requested a comp night in a different unit to be able to get a good experience from all the great reviews I have read. Overall, the place wasn't horrible, but it wasn't worth what I paid and that's where the frustration and disappointment came in.
