"Great!"

This resort was great for our family vacation. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Location was close enough to the attractions and has a beautiful view in the ocean front rooms. We will be back.
Tip: ABC on, small resort fee

The amenities are nice and plentiful. There is like 17 bodies of water on the property including an outdoor lazy river, 4 outside hot tubs many pools also. Right on the beach. The rooms are condos with many companies to rent from. We have been down here several times for the last 9 years.

We arrived at the Baywatch Resort (I use the term lightly) this week in Myrtle Beach excited for a National Baseball Tournament and our immediate first impression was not a good one. In fact, it was very disappointing. As soon as we entered the property we were met with gridlock and the most disfunctional pick up and drop off I have ever experienced, bell hops that stood helpless chatting with one another while myself and dozens of other guests tried to find parking and navigate a disaterous entrance to the property. There are signs posted everywhere for 15 minute parking and its now day 5 and there are still vehicles parked in front of the north tower that havent moved. Lobby/Front Desk. Frustrated from the arrival process I entered the lobby and will say that I immediately relaxed. You could tell it was freshly cleaned and was nicely appointed. That was until I was called up to the front desk by a staff that has ZERO customer exoerince skills. Not a single hello, smile, or kind gesture. Very matter of fact, cold, and down right rude. We checked in early so we had to wait a few hours for our room so when i returned to the front desk I intentionally went to the other front desk clerk and received nearly the same treatment. On top of all that, they have 4 check in stations and only had two open on the busiest check-in, check-out day of the week which created an enormous line in the lobby. Room- Frustrated, and now more anxious than ever, we finally get our room keys and again am again calmed by the room. Its nicely appointed and appears to have been updated in the last year or two. Newer furniture, good views, and spacious. Housekeeping- THE ABSOLUTE WORST! Day 5 and room 1702 has still not been cleaned properly and we have had to call EVERY DAY for service since we arrived. No towels, trash not emptied, floors NEVER cleaned without throwing a fit, counters and other surfaces untouched, bathrooms not cleaned or restocked, kitchen sinks not touched, etc. To cap off a bad experience, as I type this message, a knock at the door, housekeeping walks in our room, asks to see problems, upin seeing them starts arguing with us that she watched the housekeeper vacuum the room, as she stood over the sand that covered the carpet and tile floors. Note: i had to call housekeeping 3x to request service tuesday and 4x to the front desk before being handed off to a manager for action. Again, ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. The resort has potential buy the apethetic staff and lack of attention to details and cleanliness make this a trip to forget. Buyer beware.

I hope whomever reads this warning heeds it. My family along with 11 other families planned a trip here for a baseball tournament. Baywatch resort was the hotel selected for our 7 day stay. Upon check in we noticed the lack of employees and customer service. Once we received our room we obviously inspected it due to the bed bug scare of every hotel. While we didn't find any bed bugs we did find a roach under a pillow that was "just cleaned". When we told the desk clerk she blew it off as no big deal. Our rooms were skipped over my the cleaning service multiple times. The entrance into the North tower had a pungent odor and never seams clean. The desk attendant along with the other staff just seamed to be burdened by any questions. My family and I will never return to this hotel and we will continue to warn friends and family about it every chance we get....Good luck bay watch resort I really hope you get your act together because the place does have potential with the right customer service.

I took my entire family on vacation. We stayed at the Bay Watch Resort. I was a little skeptical of what I was getting myself into as I read some of the reviews. I took my parents with us. This was there first time to Myrtle Beach. As we checked in, I was beyond amazed. We stayed in room 902. This condo was not only the nicest, cleanest resort, it was beyond AMAZING!!! All new furniture and it was like home away from home. My parents took the master bedroom with there own privacy balcony. Lets just say they made some great memories, and I will be returning next year to this resort and revisiting room 902. Again, all I can say was this was a beautiful stay and please book this room if available!! I PROMISE you wont be disappointed. Great job Oceana resorts 😊
