"Great location need to improve service and wifi"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

The beds are AWFUL!!! Hard as a rock!sheets need fabric softener as you can hear when anyone moves on the bed. I love the kitchen because of the oven and stove but there is no place to put the coffeemaker and toaster. No where to prep food. We booked last minute so we knew we would be tight on space but it way bigger than other places we saw. I just hate the wifi!!! And the fact that the toilet moved when you sat on it and the faucet leaked but someone is fixing now. I'll update on the rest of the stay. Oh yeah check in is at 4 and our room wasn't ready and they said they would call us.....we came back 30 mins later and asked for a available room suddenly it was available. Others were complaining of the same thing but I must've been more impatient... The customer service needs improving and maid service also. It is almost one and we don't have fresh linens or room cleaned. Hmmm.

"Great individual unit, not so good complex"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed June 10, 2017 NEW
We rented our unit from a private individual. It was on the fifth floor, updated (except the bathrooms) and very clean. The unit was very comfortable and felt like home. Now, the complex itself? The wifi is terrible. At best, you can grab a signal early in the morning when there are not many users on. At worst, it does not work at all - peak times. A range extender would have helped, some, in the unit. But, even in the common areas the throughput was poor. The elevators are slow as the service staff is using them all day, too. Really need a dedicated elevator for just their use. Note, the staff was friendly in large part. There are no grills. Not even a community use grill. It was suggested to us we buy a cheap one at Dollar General and toss it when done. Hmmm, ok. The gym was pathetic. Some crusty old pieces of equipment that sort of worked. Actually, not really. We ended up joining Core Fitness down the road for the week. Much better option, but not as convenient. The pools were in good shape and they seemed well taken care of. The music from the neighboring bar is loud, but it stops around 9pm, so it's tolerable. Parking wasn't an issue but the unloading when you get there is a joke. Jammed and wasted an hour messing around with that. Has to be a better way to meter the influx at peak times. We would go back if the wifi worked better. Our unit was great - really enjoyed it! But, no consistent wifi crippled me for work. I can get past the no grills and slow elevators. The gym was equally disappointing as my spouse and I use it 5 times a week. That was an extra $100 for the two of us that we didn't anticipate. Hopefully these items will be addressed so others' can enjoy even more, too!

"Great location "
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

Just returned from Camelot. Check in was easy and smooth. (9:30 pm). We were assigned 1611. Room was disgusting! Nasty furniture, nasty carpet, zero decor, rust on anything that had metal on it. After reading some negative reviews I had called and was told that since we had booked through Wyndham we would be guaranteed a nice room so after stepping in 1611 I went down to the desk to complain and were given 1610. Beautiful room! It had been updated and was nice. Every room has a beautiful view! Very friendly staff. Elevators were slow but there are only four for the entire 18 floors and they are used by the staff too. Place could definitely use some updates but for the price and location it was great for us. The only problem we had was the weather. Cold and rainy all but three days. Hope to return.

"Met our Expectations!"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed June 07, 2017 NEW
We had no problems checking in and the room met all of our expectations. We were in Room # 1412 and it was sufficient for our family. Staff was very friendly and courteous. We really enjoyed the Waterpark passes , Putt-Putt and DVD rentals. However, floors were not swept while we were there, the day they came in I asked for a broom to sweep the floors, but was told they didn't have a dust pan to get it up with, and then on our last night there we noticed housekeeping took all dirty towels but didn't leave any clean ones. We also had to put up with a very large group of people "partying" and slamming door all hours of the night! Wish there was some security and enforced quiet hours for those who are trying to enjoy a family vacation. Overall enjoyed staying at Camelot with some improvements could be much more enjoyable. Can't control the neighbors but Camelot seems to be trying to turn things around.

"Hotel with lots of potential"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed June 07, 2017 NEW
Great location and layout just needs some updating and more help. Had to call for room service everyday and had a hard time getting wash cloths for some odd reason. Internet was off and on all week, had to call support 2-3 times daily. They seemed to be very short staffed all week so getting issues resolved was virtually impossible. This hotel has the potential to be fantastic with the proper management and staff. Hope they get it resolved.
