We came here for our 36th wedding anniversary. The hotel was going through some big renovations. We had a few issues with our room and Christie, Vivian and Janel helped us to have a wonderful time. They were all very nice and helpful!

I had read so many negative reviews that I made a point of contacting the hotel via email and phone to drive home my two main requests -- 1) that we be given a reasonably updated unit and that it be clean. They delivered. The furnishings were still largely 90s-style (and the dining room table and chairs really should be replaced -- quite grotty looking) but the bathroom vanities and fixtures were fairly new, the fridge was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was reasonably well-equipped. Cleaning by housekeeping generally consists of towel replenishment and garbage removal but I found I had to call front desk for it to happen. I also asked for vacuuming twice. View was lovely but temps were unseasonably cold, so we didn't make use of the balcony. Bottom line, these hotel/condo outfits (We've also stayed at Beach Colony) are a bit of a crapshoot. Some owners take great pride in their units, check in on them regularly, make decor and supply updates.... others, it seems, haven't even set foot in the place since 1999.

We stayed 6 nights at the Camelot and had a great time. We had a 2 bdrm suite and it was very nice. The layout was great with 2 full baths and a full kitchen complete with dishwasher. We had a washer and dryer in the room which was very handy. The oceanfront view from the balcony great for watching the sunrise. The attached 10 story parking garage made parking very handy to the room. Would go back in a minute.

"Great mattress! "

I stayed in room 1004 on 3/10/17 and enjoyed my stay. The guy that checked me in was VERY nice. There was a long line of people waiting to check in but the process was smooth once it was my turn. The parking for the 10th floor was convenient and I actually parked right outside of my door. The room was clean and everything was in working order except the safe and there was a whistling sound coming from the front door. The view was oceanfront and the balcony was totally private. The highlight of my stay was this absolutely wonderful mattress. I need to call back and ask what brand it was so I can buy it for my home. I checked into the Bayview on the next day and was disappointed when I got in bed. Lol! I'll be returning and hope to have the same quality of service and mattress.
