Hello I have been coming to MB for 30 years, we have stayed at many places in the past and found Camelot to be our favorite for the last 10+ years. It really makes me sad to have to write this, but this is the worst experience I have ever had. And to make matters worse we brought 2 of out adult kids and their spouses and told them how we love the Camelot. I was so embarrassed by what they experienced. The plan was to have them love it and want to bring their families here to stay. Some of the problems was the place was not very clean, had mold issues. and the wall paper was stapled on the walls, YES STAPLED. The worst part was the housekeeping. We had to asked or go down to the front desk everyday for towels and toilet paper. They never once came and cleaned our room. we swept our own floors and took out our own trash. To spend 1600.00 a week to be on vacation. I was not much of a vacation at all. I have attached photos of what we experienced. During our stay we went to different places to plan our stay for next year and the coming years, because we will not be staying at the Camelot again. I am going to post my review on travel Advisor and on Oceania Resort website so no one else will waste there money.

Where to start...Ryan who checked us had the worst customer service I have ever seen. There were 2 other people behind the desk that stood there and watched the line form. The room was musty, the fridge and light were rusted. Holes in the bathroom. Not very good at all. There were mattresses and junk stacked up in the parking garage on floor 2. The pool area is really the only thing nice I have to say.

I stayed at the Camelot by the Sea Oct. 13-15, 2017. I was really disappointed. The room was dirty, dust on the ceiling from looks like air ducks that had not been cleaned in awhile, the bed was hard and noisy.dirty walls, chipped paint, the bathroom door patched from a large hole with the plaster exposed, I had to kill several fruit flies. the couch stained, the carpet had ripples in it, kitchen chairs had black substance on it that looked like black mold. Black mold spots on the balcony walls, appliances old and rusty. Refrigerator was so loud I could hardly hear the sounds of the ocean while I slept. Woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, a baby roach crawling on the kitchen cabinet. I am really disappointed. I called the front desk at 2am to ask if I can be moved to a different room. I was told they will see what they can do in the afternoon. Never received a call back. Upon my checkout yesterday, I told the front desk attendant that my stay was not good and told her why. She was nice, apologetic and gave me a $50.00 credit. I came to relax and to relieve stress, to only come and be stressed. Really disappointed.

We arrived early to Myrtle Beach and had reservations for the following night. The gal at the front desk found us a room on the 9th floor which my wife loved. My wife slept in and I went down to the front desk to see if we could check in early for our real rooms. The gas at the front desk was wonderful. She said yes at 7:00 AM even though you can't check in till 4:00 PM. I started moving stuff to our new room. My wife told me we are staying on the 9th floor. I told her to follow me. We went up to the 19th floor it's the Penthouse. OMG 2 queen beds, 2 big screen TVs. Did I mention the view??? Check it out. We loved the staff and the service. Off season we enjoyed the lower price. $112 to $90 a night. When we went thru Wyndham we paid around $177 total. Sure the place has a few problems but the staff going out of their way balances things out. I can't say enough about the front desk help. They are great!!!! We had a balcony view of the ocean. Wonderful place.... You have a GREAT OCEAN VIEW. Who wants to see the city???? Just beautiful!!!!
