"Lovely hotel with perfect view"
January, 2015
Beautiful hotel that has a great location. Above expectations for room, happy hour and made to order breakfast. Better than a lot of other Embassy Suites even though most are always good as well
Tip: Quiet location. Very close to outlets mall and Walmart. Central location to all spots in Myrtle and North Myrtle Beach.

"great value, right on the beach"

loved being on the beach. was in room 615 in which the bedroom overlooked the beach. there was a great view of the beach from the bathroom as well. the bathroom had 2 sinks, a separate door for the toilet. the shower was spacious and the hot water was ample. the king size bed was spacious and the sheets were soft. the pillows were too thick for me so my neck hurt after sleeping. i ended up sleeping without a pillow the second night. the temperature controls in the room were great. they had 2 balcony chairs if we had wanted to enjoy the balcony. the coffee machine was easy to use in the room. the shampoo quality was not that great. id recommend bringing your own shampoo/conditioner. the wifi in the room was great. im a hilton honors member (free to sign up) so internet was free for the entire stay. i had to login every 24 hours. there are only 3 elevators. i can see how it can be slow to catch one since there are 20 floors to this hotel. we were on the 6th floor so it wasnt too big of a deal. the gym is located in a separate building about a 5 minute walk from embassy suites. the gym building has an indoor heated pool. the gym is well equipped with cardio machines (old but still do the job), tvs, wifi, free weights, and machine weights. they have classes as well. parking is plentiful. you will need a parking pass to park which you get when you check in. theres multiple entrances into the hotel so you dont have to be outside too much during the walk from the car to the hotel. it was cold when i went (march 17-19) so didnt get to enjoy the beach much. the breakfast was plentiful. go straight to the omelet bar since they can give you pancakes/potatoes/french toast/bacon right there so you dont have to wait in 2 lines. the lines were not terrible (5-10 minute wait) but that could be cuz the weather wasnt the greatest so maybe not too many tourists. the happy hour drinks were great. they cannot make a moscow mule in the complimentary drinks but they do have them for a surcharge (dont know how much since i didnt want to pay). the food at the happy hour was only ok. one night it was hummus, pretzels, and chips. the second night it was beer battered cheese, pretzels, and chips.

"Love this Hotel!"

My family and I really enjoy this hotel! So much so that we travel back to it at least once a year and have done so for 10 years. The Oceanfront rooms are fantastic with wrap around balconies and a window in the shower that has an Ocean View. The Happy hour can be crowded but is a lot of fun, staff moves people through as fast as possible in a very friendly way. I did not like the small cups they gave this past visit, I understand the rationale but for beer drinkers, it is a pain. Very family friendly hotel, great breakfast.

My wife and have been coming to this hotel for over 20 years. We have always enjoyed our stay. Everyone there treats you great. The breakfast is great. They have a really good managers reception in the afternoon and the location on the beach is perfect. We look forward to coming back next year.

"2017 EMS Symposium"

Reviewed March 20, 2017 NEW
This was a business trip for educational purposes. For more than 20 years we have had our annual EMS Symposium in Myrtle Beach. It was very nice to have it back at Kingston Plantation. I very much enjoy the location, the staff, and the accommodations. While I did not use as many of the amenities this time as I have in the past, it is obvious that the facility is working to improve what they offer their guests. I look forward to my stays in the future and seeing how Embassy Suites continues to grow and offer their customers consistent and competent service. Thank you for a wonderful time.

The hotel was very clean, had a beautiful view of the sunrise and an inlet view as well. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, with lots of choices. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to make sure my stay was enjoyable.
