I booked this room advertised as a "3 star resort", but feel like I was staying at a budget motel. The beds were dirty; we ended up going to a local store to buy a comforter of our own to lay on the bed. The DVD player in the room was broken and the shower had hair in it. We asked to be moved to another room, but were told that nothing else was available. Curious, I went online and could have booked another room so that was not the truth. Be warned that if you book through a third party, you will be treated as such. You will be given their worst room along the road with tons of parking lot and street noise. There is no security and the only thing I can say is that I am glad to leave there; will never consider the resort again.

This hotel was in a very good spot. The rooms were clean, we didn't see anything dirty or too old. The curtains are hideous, but some people probably love that type of print! The staff at check in was nice, and it was fairly quick. Getting to the rooms was a little odd, but we figured it out! I will say that the parking spaces are narrow for SUV's and large trucks! Breakfast at the attached restaurant was very good! The owners were very nice! THE ISSUE: I think I lost my card in the room. I called the same day and was told I would receive a call back. I called again yesterday and still no one has called, it has been over a week now! It makes me wonder and it has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I have cancelled the card, but I still think they should have called me back and reported whether the card was found or not!

After spending a week at the Camelot Resort and wanting to stay somewhere to extend my vacation a few days we booked the Long Bay for the ample kids amenities. This is what you will get when you stay at the Long Bay currently. First it's under construction or renovation so noise and nusiance is abundant. The room we had was very dingy, old, run down, and in need of major TLC and this is after they replaced the carpets and floor tiles. A very cheap and quick lip stick fix to hide the stench of musty old cigarette odor, deteriorated furniture and bedding, and the condition of the room. Long story short, there's hundreds of rooms and maybe we just were fortunate to get the misfit one but first impressions are everything. I just would prefer to relax when I get to my room and not have to worry about the cleanliness of things just because they have been used beyond they lifespan. The assistance of staff it comical, in my 2 days I saw the front desk staff and that was it and this on the weekend when it was busy. ABSOLUTELY NO SECURITY in this place, we witnessed people just coming in and using the pool and leaving after letting his 3-4 year old urinate in the corner. With this it will have me bring up the clientele that was also enjoying the resort by doing drug deals in the parking garage, loud, and roudy and nobody there to stop it from happening. Not what I expected for "family friendly" and in the more residential area. Not for me, not that nice, and definitely did not make me feel safe to have my family there.

Very close to the ocean and also there is a nice pool. Rooms are clean, however, there was some dust under bed. Very good view from the balcony, a dream of photographer! Overall, it is quiet, but sometimes there are drunk companies in the hot tub.

Nice place to relax and enjoy the pools, sauna, hot tubs, play putt putt. You really don't have to go anywhere else. The Martin Restaurant breakfast buffet is delicious and the River City Cafe is right next door, fun place to eat.
