"Very noisy!"

My family made reservations for a 2 bedroom condo, but we got upon check-in was a 2 bed apartment. This consisted of 2 queen beds in the same room, a murphy bed, and a pull-out sofa in the living area. It accommodated us all, but was less than ideal and not at all what we booked. When we asked the management about this, they seemed unconcerned and spouted that they had nothing else available. Really? It was early March and the daytime temps were in the 30s & 40s. Not sure how they could be booked up. I've never stayed in a place where the parking garage was attached to the building itself. At first it seemed convenient. But if you're driving anything bigger than a little bitty car, which I was, you will soon be disappointed. Parking was horrendous! Most of the spaces available had a concrete pillar in between spaces and with the tight arrangement of everything, made it impossible to park an Expedition. Also when you leave your vehicle and walk to your room, you discover that the bedroom is the closest room to the exterior door. Not good if you expect to get any sleep. Cars are driving at all hours of the night, horns blaring, and people talking and running by. The room itself was clean. We did not use anything besides the coffee maker in the kitchen. They do not even supply coffee or filters for it. The indoor pool area is nice and spacious and very warm. The smell of chlorine is very strong and nauseous. My son and I broke out on our faces after being exposed to it for several hours. But, I guess you don't have to worry about germs!

"Major Overhaul Needed!"

From the makeshift reception area, to the pressure to pay for the room in full before you see it, to the musty smell and dirt on the floor of our room, we swiftly turned around and asked to cancel our reservation. We explained our situation to booking.com and they cancelled the reservation without any penalty. Unless Long Bay does a major renovation, I would not recommend this hotel.

"Horrible stay at Long Bay Resort..."

We stayed at Long Bay Resort for 2 weeks from Mar 5 - Mar 17. We found the room cleaning and customer service to be sub standard at best. This place has gone down hill since our last visit. Perhaps the weather helped with examining this place a bit differently. When the weather has been nice in the pass perhaps we have overlooked some of these amenities because we were oceanfront and had beautiful weather. We had issues upon check-in regarding our room location. The indoor hot tubs were filthy with foam and hair. The lazy river is in desperate need of a good cleaning and update as a significant amount of tiles are missing. The first day we arrived one of the staff were texting on their phone in the corner of the indoor pool and really had no interest in what was going on. Why have a staff member in this area if they are not providing any value. The room we had was in need of significant updates. The carpet was disgusting, the floors were terribly dirty and the beds are in need of a change. When the cleaning staff came in everyday it was like pulling teeth to get anything done, we ended up just doing as must as we could ourselves because a vacuum was a luxury request. We have stayed here for approx 15 years and unfortunately this will probably be our last stay.

We booked Long Bay for a couples getaway before we are expecting our first child. We stayed for 4 nights. Our first room we checked into had great amenities. However, after staying in for 30 minutes, our carpet was saturated and there was standing water in the bathroom. We moved to a second room (also on the 1st floor) and had a clogged toliet. It took from 1pm to 8pm to resolve, after 3 requests for maintenance. I had to use a public restroom on the first floor, out of the room, and at 7 months pregnant, this was frustarting and not convenient. We enjoyed the indoor pool and lazy river, as we had very cold weather the weekend we stayed. And we also enjoyed Martin's breakfast buffet.
