The hotel itself was wonderful. The check in took us too long (We arrived early from the airport) We waited 4 hours in the lobby until we got a room. The rooms are huge , clean and really great. The view was amazing.The only concern we had was mostly the food. We ended eating only salads .(We ad to go to the supermarket in order to survive ) .They should have more healthier food options for people who don't eat junk . You barley cant find any vegetables . You must have a car if you choose this hotel. We had to use Uber since we took a flight (please consider a car). The beach is amazing .They provided the chairs , the umbrella and the towel.There is a shuttle to the beach.Check out was easy .If you choose not to use the cleaning service then you receive $ 5.00 coupon daily to use toward any thing in the hotel.

We arrived at 3 PM, were told we could not check in until 4. At 4 PM we were told the rooms were not ready and that they would call us. We had no where to go and were tired. We finally got our room at 5:45 PM. For $275 a night my room should have been ready by 4 PM - especially since I was there at 3 and they knew I was waiting. They had the maid service cleaning all of the "regular" rooms first (those patrons were being checking in early) and those of us waiting for the expensive suites were all made to wait until after 5:30 PM. You could hear everything between the rooms - NOT GOOD for a romantic getaway. For the price of this hotel I could have found much better.

WHERE DO I START...I drove up and my mouth dropped. The Valet person was so dang nice and helpful. Made us feel like Royalty. We checked in and they guided us to our room where we changed and hit the sushi place across the street. The bar downstairs was also a great experience. Met a couple from NY and laughed the night away. The next day we went to COACH outlet (now I'm broke) and when we made it back to our room...IT WAS CLEAN. I didn't know room service daily was part of the plan...hahahaha...I'M DEFINITELY COMING BACK HERE. This was an amazing trip. Blew me away!!

We splurged for a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite that had a full kitchen, LR/DR and washer and dryer. We were so excited and expected it to be beautiful and clean. It was NOT clean! The master bedroom had splashes of drink or food on the walls by the bed, the lampshade on the other side of the bed was stained and had splatters of food or drink on the inside that looked disgusting. We called down to the front desk who said they would have someone come up and change the lampshade but they never did. We had to wait until after 6:00 pm on two days of our stay for our room to be cleaned. Needless to say that was a huge inconvenience as we had to wait to come back to our room to shower and then was late for our dinner reservations. When the room was cleaned, things were omitted from the cleaning; no replacement tissue box, no teas and creamers were given, no cleaner for the dishwasher, etc. It was far from what we expected since we were paying a lot of money to stay in this suite. Additionally, every single day the outdoor pool ran out of clean towels and we and other guests had no towels for the pool. There was one person at the front desk who checked us in and he was very unfriendly. Not a good way to start off, that's for sure. We arrived at 2:00 and we were hoping our room was ready but were okay that it wasn't as check in was at 4:00. He took our number and said he'd call us when it was ready. We went back at 4:20, still no phone call, and then it was ready. He neglected to call us! We will not be going back nor will we be recommending this establishment to friends or family.

Another hotel messed up my reservation and I ended up at the Marina Inn for the Easter weekend. I had been traveling all day and just tired. From the moment I checked in Andrew was very pleasant and friendly. In the middle of trying to figure out all the craziness, he assured me that he would take care of it and then CALLED me while I was out getting dinner. Exceptional customer service even though I am sure I wasnt the only displaced customer on a holiday weekend. Beautiful, clean property too. But, I will always remember the great customer service.!
