We enjoyed our stay here. From the time we arrived to when we left everyone was nice and friendly. We spent everyday at the pool and we ate at every restaurant at this resort. We enjoyed our Easter brunch and had breakfast one morning at the Ocean. We had great service at every place place we ate at.Had great service at the pool area and the food was all great. We had a room on the sixth floor and with a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. We loved it.The room is good size and the beds were comfortable. The valet parking is so worth it and always friendly from places to eat to just getting something from the car.The pool is beautiful and just relaxing.Lots of places to sit and take it all in.The only problem we had was that our refrigerator was froze up and so the second day here we thawed it out and it worked fine the rest of the week. The room was not ready when we arrived and we had the bellhop bring our stuff up when we unloaded and at the front desk said it was ready. We than found out that it was not ready so we sat on the deck so they could finish up.No big deal so after we were able to unpack and get settled someone came in to the room with out knocking and surprised us.It was a housekeeper checking the room even after we were unpacked. The room we had cleaned one day but they never vacuumed and there was still sand or something on the carpet that never got cleaned. We just left it go but not cleaned as well as I would have expected. Will we be back....YES.....We stayed from Saturday to Thursday and the place was wonderful. Just enjoy your stay and enjoy everything this resort has to offer.Great Job Marriott Helpful hints. If it's windy get away from the upper pool because the wind off the building makes it real windy Try to get down before 10:30 if you want a spot under a Blue umbrella for shade Take the time to just sit in the evenings down around the pool Relaxing Save your money on having a Margarita or daiquiri I don't mind paying for one but when they are no larger than a 12 ounce cup That is getting very cheap. The Marriott at others resorts you could buy a good size not just a sample.Your on vacation spending more than $500 a day between the room and food so having a good regular size drink would be nice. And one last thing if you want to see the sunrise you need to go down to the beach the other building is in the way to see it come up.

Staff was exceptional which saved the day. Due to remodeling the room was not finished. i.e. No closet doors, couch not available because it was still on order, small fridge with safe sliding on the top of the fridge in the cabinet. Notified the front desk staff on the second day of our visit and they offered another room. However, once your in and settled it's a royal pain to move. Got an occasional chair without arms which was uncomfortable so we used the two outside balcony chairs. I forgot to mention that we stayed at this hotel last August and had no problems whatsoever!! Ryan Harvey and his wait staff, especially Richie, did a great job in the mornings. The valets were a hoot, sorry the SOX kept beating the Pirates. The front desk staff helped out getting the chair, and the room cleaned after two days of shoddy Housekeeping. I took photos, but only shared them with the staff. Still not sure what that was about. Did I mentioned we stayed at the same property last August? We are Platinum Elite and believe in the Brand, so this just had us wondering if there was a recent management change or, "A Bad Day at Eagle Rock?"

"Great Spring Break Stay"

I am a lifetime platinum member for Marriott, so I have stayed in many properties. The property itself was very nice and the staff that we interacted with was as well. 2 items do need addressed. The wifi is awful. I constantly dropped the connection as did the rest of my family, and the wifi was not accessible from the pool area. Secondly, the service in the pool area was awful. The servers couldn't keep up and the food runners had no idea who to deliver food to. I would suggest what they have in FT Lauderdale, which is 2 flags on each chair. One flag signifies that you would like service and the 2nd flag had a number that the server would raise so that the runners could easily identify where to deliver the food. this would be an inexpensive change and I think it would greatly improve efficiency and guest satisfaction. Overall, we would gladly stay there again and my suggestions would just enhance property.

"Great place to stay"

This can get expensive, but it's a great place to stay, was over $1000 for four nights in April that included a weekend. Taxes and fees of course. Parking is outside to the left of the building, there really isn't a need to pay for their extra parking. They have multiple restaurants and bars inside and outside. One of the best outside pool facilities we've been to. Family oriented from what we saw every day. Offer free wifi if you have Marriott #. Free papers are at the front desk. Make sure to book early, the business travelers seemed to book the rooms and don't cancel until a week prior. A month out and we couldn't get four days straight, had to call the week prior to get all four days and gave up large king for two queens.

"Beautiful resort!"

We decided to take an overnight trip to the beach and found this resort on the Marriott website. From the time we arrived until the moment we left we were extremely pleased with our choice! The resort is unlike most 'resorts' in the area, it's nestled away from the touristy section of the beach in a lovely location. We were greeted with a friendly smile by all of the employees, the resort was just what we were hoping to find; beautiful, clean, relaxing and updated. We will absolutely be back!
