Stayed at resort over Spring Break for Softball tournaments. The units were a bit outdated, but very clean and comfortable! I would recommend staying here with smaller groups. My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) would be have been tight. It would be good for families with small children. I would stay here again. Staff was super friendly and helpful!

"Beware of mold!"

We spent just one night, Thank God! We were planning on cooking and eating in the room, I spent much more money to have a kitchen. But after checking in and seeing the level of cleanliness we decided to eat out. There was food from the previous guests under the dining table, that had 4 chairs around it, but was shoved so far in the corner it was laughable, my yen year old twins had trouble eating poptarts at it in the morning. There were rasins everywhere we looked in the kitchen, the fridge wasn't very clean either, I wasnt brave enough to open the oven or top of the coffee pot. The ceilings were do low I couldn't even get out a full stretch, I'm 5'5 so if you have a tall family this won't work. The front door opens directly into a bedroom, and you must walk through one bedroom to get to the other, so that rules out 2 couples sharing a 2 bedroom unit. The toilet in the master let out a high pitched squeal that lasted a couple of minutes, untill the bowl filled back again when flushed. I have a mold allergy and the ceiling was full of it, black mold everywhere, you could see it! The air conditioning systems were full of molds and knats as well, but it wasn't hot enough we were forced to turn it on. The shower was awful, tiny and the water was hot enough to burn you badly, turning on any amount of cold water made it frigid. After I suffered through a half scolding and half icy shower and spent 5 minutes trying to get the knob to turn so I could get it to go off, I didn't allow the kids to shower, it really wasn't safe. I slept 4 hours before my throat started to close up because of the mold, I napped outside until it was late enough (8am) to wake the rest of the family and we packed up and ran away. Pay more to stay somewhere else if you need a kitchen and 2 bedrooms. Positive: we lucked out and got an oceanfront room, probably because we got a 2bedroom. The beach is some of the best in myrtle beach. Indoor pool exists but was so small that the other family that was swimming took up the whole thing, not much more than a small box of water!

My husband and I and our 3 kiddos stayed here as a timeshare exchange. Our home timeshare is Tahiti Village in Las Vegas. We’ve done a number of exchanges and stayed in lots of nice properties. We booked this in October (for end of March) and it was the only properties left on the beach. I really wanted one of the Marriott or the Sheridan properties. But with this ones location I decided to give it a shot. Reviews kind of scared me. The location is awesome, steps from the beach. It’s also away from all of the hustle and bustle of myrtle beach since it is north Myrtle Beach. But there isn’t activities for the kids like other resorts had. Other than the pools. The appearance of the building isn’t very appealing either. It’s pretty dated. The condo itself is very “scrunched” together. No more than one person in the kitchen at a time! No more than 2 people can sit at the table and eat at a time, despite 4 chairs.?The first bedroom the door won’t even close because it hits the end of the bed! The furniture needs updated. The couch and chair just look dirty. And maybe update the curtains? Kind of gaudy. The cleaning staff could do a better job dusting as well. Along edges and trim was a nice layer of dust. Dusty air conditioning units...And I am not a clean freak! But I noticed this. I just think there’s little details that could make this property so much better! The sauna didn’t work when we tried. The indoor pool is nice and warm and my kids loved that. The jacuzzi is HOT which I love. The outdoor pool was freezing. I assume it’s not heated. Location on the beach is excellent. First floor deck furniture looked super worn. The kitchen equipment is adequate. There’s a good little beach bar/restaurant 3 doors down. (Buoys) Serves burgers, fish, sushi etc. The two desk ladies at Peppertree I interacted with were VERY nice and helpful. I loved speaking with them. Especially Trish, she was great. Very personable and super sweet. The outside area was well kept and clean..Given the opportunity in the future, I would look for a different property. One with more kid friendly activities and maybe an on-site bar/grill and a little more updated amenities. But price wise, you get what you pay for. Location is the best thing about this property. If you want to be near all the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach tho, this isn’t your place.

Very pleasant place to stay. Great view of the Ocean and easy to get around. Was nice to have coffee & munchies for us to enjoy. Beds were comfortable, plenty of places to put clothes, as well as food products. Fridge was on and cold. Would return again.
