The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very clean and well kept but the walls were pretty thin you could hear just about everything. The hotel itself was close to everything we wanted to do .
Tip: The walls are thin and the pool is fairly small

Well, let me just start by stating that I'm a Hilton type of girl. I stayed here for a volleyball tournament and chose this hotel because the courts are directly behind it.....walking distance. When I arrived the lobby was packed and backed up as usual. (I have stayed here several times.) When it was finally my turn and man jumped right in front of me and the clerk said NOTHING. I wasn't in the mood to address so I waited and simply went to a different person. Checked in and went to park in the garage, but NO, my card wasn't working. Had to go back in and wait in the lines AGAIN to get my card right. I was a little upset because I heard another customer complain about this while I waited the first time. I can say this.....the rooms were very clean and the BEDS FELT LIKE HEAVEN!!!!!! Life really, that was the best sleep ever. I did not want to leave me bed!!!! I had ocean view so not being beach front wasn't too bad. Expect a detached parking garage and extra self-parking fees which are new to me. Idk why we have to pay more for that. Overall, this was an ok visit because of the waiting, service and garage. If you can get past that, the rooms and beds will deliver in satisfaction. Customer service at Hilton hotels are more to my likings.

Our reservation was booked well in advance and we have stayed here in the past. At issue this time was that my personal travel plans had changed and that my wife would not be personally accompanied by me at time of check in. I called the hotel directly at 843-918-5000 to make sure my wife's name was listed on the room guest list along with me, it was confirmed she was. I also wanted to confirm the check in for her was in order with no further requirements needed for me, again it was confirmed to me everything was in order for her check in. Per my phone records This phone call took place on tuesday 2/7/17 at 9:05am and was taken by a representative who identified his name as "main". I also called 843-918-5000 again at 2:55pm on Thursday the day before check in just to again confirm the situation and have the piece of mind of knowing her check in was in order, again I was told she would have no trouble checking in without me. When she arrived Friday at 604pm to check in she was told that her room was not approved. She was told by front desk manager Blake Delman she would be "removed from the room in 30 minutes and asked to leave and/or be escorted from the property" his words not mine. I spoke with Blake Delman via phone and he confirmed to me that he had indeed told my wife this. Keep in mind I had already reached out and overcommunicated earlier in the week to avoid any such issues for my wife and daughter. my wife is extremely upset, and my teenage daughter is in tears. this is the point and not until this point I am told I needed to submit a credit card authorization form to get things resolved, which we did. The error in communicating this very important detail came from the hotels end and was in no part due to any negligence on my part. Even then Blake Delman insisted on deflecting any blame on his part as he said to me perhaps you called corporate and not the hotel and perhaps the 2 different reps I spoke with were not aware of the reservation policy, which in that alone I would find a training issue that needs to be addressed, yet please note the 2 pictures I have enclosed with this review documenting the direct hotel number that I called. Blake Delmans comments threatening to remove my wife and daughter from the property was at the very least unprofessional and unwarranted as part of the resolution process. I have many reviews here at trip advisor, please review them and note my demeanor and tone. I simply pass along what I encounter in my travels. Have stayed at this hotel in the past, have given them a good review in the past. Sad how Blake Delmans actions in this one incident can negate the years of good customer service we received on past visits. needless to say there was a lot of unnecessary stress at a very busy and important time for my wife and daughter.

The Sheraton at Myrtle Beach is located connected to the convention center... This hotel offers an exceptional value and is about one mile from the beach... Large rooms... modern up-to-date furniture… This hotel is extremely clean and the staff is outstanding… I travel for work and this is definitely one of my favorite stops… And one you should try when traveling to Myrtle Beach

Room was good. Beds are some of the best. Spend a few extra bucks for to get the buffet breakfast included. However, if you are staying here to be close to an event at the convention center this Sheraton will work, but if you go out late to eat you could come back and find no room to park in the garage. Then you will have to park way up at the other side of the convention center. And if your event is taking place in the sports complex you will have to pay to park your car if you try to drive there. Oh and there is an $8 charge for parking in the Sheraton garage as it is also a city garage.

I was responsible for coordinating a trip for 6 adults and 45 middle schoolers for an event being held at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center. We could have stayed in another hotel for less money, but we decided to go with the actual convention center for ease of convenience. It was well worth the few extra dollars. From the minute I contacted the hotel, Cyndi Mohr and the sales staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and warm. Cyndi made sure everything was in order for a perfect arrival, and each of our many requests were met (with a smile, I might add). Other hotel staff proved that this perfect hospitality is just their way at the Sheraton; the bellman was very helpful (I forget his name - so sorry!), and housekeeping did a superb job keeping our rooms beautiful and neat. I could not be happier with our stay, and I looking forward to visiting again in the future.
