"Fun night out!"
February, 2018
My fiance and I had a great time at the Murder Mystery dinner theater. The food was pretty good, the show was entertaining enough, but wished they had more bartenders . They only had 1 on staff for everyone in the room, so the line for drinks was pretty long. The staff tried interacting with the crowd but not everyone seemed interested in participating.Overall we had a fun time and would do it again.

"Family Fun"

We had a wonderful time! I have two children ages 11 and 12 and they loved it! The actors/staff are friendly and talented! The food is very good. They usually serve a chicken dish and a salad. We have gone to the HB Murder Mystery Dinner for the last two summers and plan to go next summer!

If you go into this with the right attitude it can be fun. Put your inhibitions aside and play along with the actors and you will have a good time. The food was good but I did think the price was a bit steep for this event.

"Humor and Intrigue"
June, 2016
This was the first experience of this kind for our family of four (including two teenagers 18 and 14). The event was well organized went seamlessly. The entertainers did a great job unfolding the story, and the humorous elements really added to the overall enjoyment of the show. What really surprised us was the quality of the meal. The salad was made up of premium greens, and the chicken was done perfectly. Quite an accomplishment when serving a large group! I would definitely recommend this dinner theatre for anyone interested in an entertaining interactive experience.

"I was murdered (pocketbook wise) at dinner!"

The show did not start immediately at 7. In fact they advised to get there 1/2 hour early so we didn't actually sit down until 7:40. Overall the performers, with the exception of one seemed tired in their delivery. The person playing detective (although a professional actor) seemed to get lost in thought which translated in dead lines. It was overcrowded, stuffy and seating did not provide adequate viewing as you had to turn around in a chair and hopefully didn't elbow the person sitting behind you. Servers were pleasant but due to late start they were hurrying you though your meal which was another disappointment. Kid size portions didn't go over well. The bar line was FOREVER. For the money, The Pirates Voyage is a great experience and you can't eat all the food! (comparing dinner entertainment) I was happy to get out of there due to the cramped settings and certainly NOT Handicap assessable. Very disappointed. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The show would have received 5 stars but I think $7.65 for a Happy hour 20 oz beer is way too steep. Once you get past that part, the food is good and the show entertained 2 Adults and 2 teenagers....not an easy task. The show is a bit corny but it made me laugh and I think the entire audience had a good time. I know we did and that's all that really matters.

We go every year and enjoy the show. Yes it is more of a dinner experience and one of the audience members is the killer. You get what you make of it.......we are a family of 4 with a 12 and 13 year old and they enjoy trying to figure out who killed who...........you can't take it too seriously. I have read reviews that the food is small portions......I don't agree with that. Our meal included a side salad with bread, a piece of chicken which included the breast and leg, veges and rice. You also get dessert.

It was an OK show with a decent mystery. Felt a bit rushed at the end when we had to submit our answers to the mystery.
