"A great evening"
April, 2018 NEW
On last year's vacation, my family and our friends went to a different dinner theater that featured men on horses using old weapons (I'll leave it nameless). We had a decent time there, but it was nothing compared to the Pirate Show. It is produced by Dolly Parton's company, and it shows. It takes an entertainer (rather than a corporation) to provide this high quality of a show and the attention to detail that we saw. The atmosphere was family friendly and the cast members obviously work very hard to prepare themselves for the acrobatics involved. The food was plentiful and delicious, and they had a full bar. I would highly recommend this to any family looking for a fun night out.

"Great show"
April, 2018 NEW
The show is well worth the admission. I would say similar to Medieval Times but in my opinion it was better. Lots of action that continues all through dinner and they get some members of the audience to participate.
Our four-year old loved the show and was so mesmerized by it he didn’t want to eat.

"Must do activity"

I had really low expectations going into this especially after seeing the long lines. To make matters worse I had a sullen teenager to entertain. However we both had a fantastic time. The show was highly entertaining from start to finish. We had the best time.

"Absolutely worth it!"

We loved it! We were a family of all ages from 5 to 50+ and everyone loved it (even our teenager!) The food was good and there was plenty of it and the show was action packed and fun! My 5 year old danced through the whole show and talked about it for days after wards. I was very skeptical at first, I had visions of a boring show and bad (cold) food. But that was not the case. The pre-show was entertaining as well. I paid extra to have my youngest get her face painted and it was well worth it too! We look forward to going again the next time we are in MB.

We didn't hate the show, but we don't feel like we would ever go back. We did have excellent seats, front row. Fortunately we were placed on the end of one of the bench style seats/tables. There are probably 12 people per bench so not sure I would want to be in the middle of a bunch of strangers with no way to get up. The food was not bad. They serve you soup, bread, chicken, bbq pork, half a baked potato, corn and an apple turnover. The apple turnover was mainly crust. A piece of pie, cake or cupcake would have been better. And I Wish I would have known that there was bbq sauce on the table, down near the middle, before I was almost finished eating. Maybe add more bottles to each table. The show itself was entertaining enough. The one part that needs to be removed is when they get children from the audience and place them next to a box. They tell the children something about racing what ever is in the box to a certain spot. The box opens and ducks come out. They appear to be scared to death as they waddle as fast as they can with children chasing them and people cheering and clapping. I thought this was HORRIBLE and CRUEL! There are also sea lions in the show but at least they were not being harassed by kids and they were being feed treats. Why anyone would think chasing ducks would be ok is beyond me. Like I said at the beginning, the show was ok, but once was enough.

Any one who thinks this show isnt one of the best in Myrtle Beach has no taste. The food was delicious. The performers were exquisite and enchanting. The live animals were well trained and looked to be well taken care of and the servers were prompt and on point. I will definately return and see it again.
