April 5: 6th Annual f.l.a.v.o.r. Culinary Event
Come out for one of the biggest culinary events of the year! The Sixth Annual f.l.a.v.o.r. Culinary Event returns to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. Admission is free, with food and beverage tickets ranging from $1.25 to $2 each. Door prizes will also be awarded. Proceeds from the event will award Horry Georgetown Technical College culinary scholarships.
April 9: Blues & Jazz Festival
Located at La Belle Amie Vineyards, this festival features two talented bands for your afternoon enjoyment. Come for music, wine & food. Admission: $8/person (under 18 & over 80 free) includes vineyard access parking music vineyard tour wine sampling gift shop access.
April 15-24: Society of Stranders (SOS) Spring Safari
The Shag is the state dance of South Carolina and welcomes festivals and events at various times in the year. Shagging competitions at local clubs are quite fierce and most of all, fun to watch. The Society of Stranders (SOS) promotes a theme of “Good Friends, Good Times and Great Memories.”
April 15-24: Horry County Fair
The newly formed Horry County Fair at Myrtle Beach Speedway will feature demonstrations, displays, vendors, free live music, petting zoo, 4-H display, children’s educational activities, and an amazing midway.
April 18-23: Singing in the Sun
Singing In The Sun is a six day event that includes some of Gospel music’s greatest artists and world renown speakers. The event is held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
April 20-23: Myrtle Beach International Film Festival
